Management walks the walk and genuinely treats employees as friends. Exceptionally talented group of co-workers, and the environment feels like a big (non-disfunctional) family. Thoroughly enjoyed the working relationship with my colleagues there. As a small company, it wasn't loaded with all kinds of formal policies meant to spell out every action you are allowed -- or not allowed - to take. They just hire well and expect employees to abide by common sense, adult behaviors.

As a small company, onboarding could have been a bit more robust, but they've addressed that in recent years.

A well managed company with highly competent co-workers. Very little drama, no office politics, competitive pay. Consistently successful at providing customer with what they want and need--a large chunk of new business comes from referrals from existing and past customers. Part of a very attractive industry niche.

Consulting has its inevitable downsides at times. When things go wrong the first person thrown under the bus by a customer with a finger pointing culture is the consultant. It's something you know will happen sooner or later and you have to learn from it without taking it personally.
