Pros
Upper management is the best I have ever worked for. The Managers are supportive, smart and available. The schedulers are there for you. Continuing education provided. You set your own schedule. You are alone driving a lot of the day going to see patients. If you have a passion for being your own boss and building your patient case load this is a great position.
Cons
Gas is not reimbursed. You get paid by the visit, so if patients cancel or discharge, you don't get paid. Oasis E was the bane of my existence, so much electronic paperwork. Full-time case management was well over 40 hours for me when you have a full caseload. I worked 6/7 days a week catching up on paperwork.
