Pros
Every company has their pros and cons, but here, the pros are great! Overall, the office feels very relaxed. It's fast-paced but many departments are able to come in early and leave before 5 to get back to their personal lives. The monthly product allocation for full-time employees is enough for you to try all the products eventually and give a few to friends or family. There is a general sense that the people at the very top care and want everyone to be content with their jobs, even if they don't always know how people feel. There is sometimes room to move around and try different jobs if you ask. Most of the people here are shy but friendly and supportive if you take the time to get to know them. The company sponsors lunch and a few events throughout the year to encourage bonding.
Cons
It can feel like a monarchy sometimes, with the founders, execs and directors at the top and the minions below. You really have to kiss up, ask for and make your own future here. No one is going to hand you an opportunity. It can also feel like the trying to turn the Titanic around when you want to introduce a new idea or do something differently. Many departments work off in their own corners, not with one another as a whole, which can cause problems. Some of the department managers are control freaks who micromanage and unknowingly sabotage their staff. The HR rules are more strict here than at other companies I've worked at. Some people have lost the will to care about their work, so they just do enough to "get by" and go home because they can. It really depends on the department you're in, how long you've worked here, how patient you are and who you're friends with. Also almost everyone gossips.
