Pros
Very routine work, always working the same hours and days. A sense of structure and everyone is a "family". Long lunch. Paid time off upon starting.
Cons
Taking on many different role for the job, even though you may be a warehouse or counter person, you do every and any job asked of you. If they need help with deliveries, you'll be sent on deliveries. If they need help in the warehouse or on the counter, you help where needed. Managers often get big heads and newly hired people get paid so much less than the people that have been there for a while. Owners and stock holders care only of themselves it seems like most of the time, always trying to find new ways to cut costs on other things to save themselves money. Raises are rare and bonuses leave much to be desired. It seems like you're always working hard for no recognition.
