Pros

Interesting projects & client , good & respectable agency name to have on your CV

Cons

Since the merger, this place has severely gone down hill. Management is so top heavy with multiple people in the same position - what they actually do is unknown... If you are more junior , prepare to be overworked and for senior people to take credit for your work. Don’t expect to finish on time - you will be told this is just the norm of agency life (it’s not)… In client services, senior people leave and they are not replaced - SAMS / AMS are overloaded with work and expected to run with it and with little support / oversight. Opportunities are only given to you if you are popular in the studio or amongst leadership. Or if you’re loud. Extremely cliquey. No one really talks to each other in the studio unless you’re part of the creative team or if you’ve been there since ‘the old DB days…’. Development plans may as well be none existent . You’re not praised for your work unless your manager routes for you - if you clash, you’re in trouble. This is not the place to start your career, find another agency or you’ll be stuck in the shadow of someone else who takes credit for your hard work.

Pros

Nice office space in Soho

Cons

Pay is lower than competitive agencies, zero company culture, not “people focused” at all, little clarity on what upper management are doing, work is nothing to write home about, progression opportunities unclear, forced to use dated software, tools taken away without notice causing limitations on doing job effectively, lots of negative impacts from WPP parent company, dismissive team leaders and stressed out management, clients and internal teams losing confidence in company.
