Pros

I have worked with Designing Benefits for about three years. Very knowledgeable management and owner. Very flexible with us in terms of time off, schedules, and requests. They have an in house yoga class once a week as part of their benefits! The culture is friendly and respectful, but the expectation is also to work hard. This is a fun team to work with. A healthy environment for those of us trying to balance work and health. Employee wellness program with challenges and games for us to participate in. Nice office space. Overall great place to be.

Cons

Because it's a small company, any turn over in staff requires flexibility on our part to pick up the slack and also help any new colleagues that join our team.

Pros

Great group of highly experienced, ethical people who really care about their clients. The training is fast-paced, so be prepared. My experience has been great so far; everyone is very easy to work with and very helpful. It's a great team environment balanced with the flexibility to manage your day autonomously. There's a wide variety of work responsibilities so there's rarely a boring day, which keeps me engaged and looking forward to the next day... not just looking forward to the end of the day!

Cons

It's a small company, so when it's a high volume season, it can feel overwhelming. But in my experience, the management team is aware and responsive to workloads, so maintain an open line of communication and you will not find yourself in over your head.

Pros

Flexible hours - when I need to take care of my children accommodations to my schedule are happily worked out. Family atmosphere, Quiet working conditions. Challenging and varied challenges working with different clients around the bay area. The company has consistently grown year over year for more than 10 years.

Cons

Not a place for those who want to coast. It is a small vibrant company and is fast moving where employees need to depend on each other. A child of the CEO works here, so it is easy to imagine favoritism. If you are inclined to look for offense, this is not a good place for you.
