Pros

I had an amazing instructor and some great people in my cohort. Came in with a CS degree and I still got a lot out of it. The client I eventually got placed with is okay.

Cons

There's a $35k fee for quitting early. It's a training repayment agreement provision, also known as a "TRAP". Everyone who gets placed talks, and it's well known this is legally dubious. By law, a TRAP must reflect the actual cost of training and cannot be used as unfair leverage. The $35k figure is wildly inflated and will not hold up in court. However, some of the kids breaking their contracts are a bit naive, and they will feel pressured to pay up once the threatening letters come in. This is an exceptionally scummy, predatory, and exploitive move, one that overshadows any good the program might offer, so I cannot give it anything above 1 star.

Pros

Exceptionally supportive environment. Dev10 has been genuinely invested in my success from day one, both professionally and personally. Great career transition program. They gave me the chance to pivot into tech, even without a traditional background. I’m now in a role I love. Structured training with real mentorship. The training program is well-designed, and instructors and support staff are always available to help. You’re never just a number. I’ve always felt seen, respected, and encouraged. Strong emphasis on growth and accountability. Dev10 creates space for you to learn, ask questions, and develop real-world skills. Meaningful, real client opportunities. This isn’t a bootcamp. You’re trained to contribute to actual enterprise teams. Cohort camaraderie. Working alongside others going through the same journey creates an amazing support system. Leadership that listens. They take feedback seriously and really try to improve the program based on your experience.

Cons

I can’t think of any. I’m not sure what could be better honestly. This is the best company I have ever worked for.
