Pros
- Great, especially for early-mid career advancement. - Close relationship with competent and kind management and sales people. - Competitive compensation and package; high salary, free cars (VW, BMW, MB, Jaguar, etc.), gas, restaurant tickets, MacBook or Windows laptop, phone, and more. - Highly skilled coworkers. - Competitive yearly training budget. Covers practically everything. - Consultants are highly regarded in the company. - Devoteam is always innovating and improving, recently more emphasis is placed on helping consultants to up-skill.
Cons
- There has been some discrepancy in employee experience due to the nature of the company. If you have highly sought after skills, you will have a superior experience with Devoteam than someone with less desirable skills. This is because Devoteam is primarily a sales centric company. Devoteam stands for 'technology for people'. Therefore, the preferred employee should constantly produce technological solutions that people want to pay for. This problem is being tackled by new initiatives at the moment. - It isn't all rainbows and sunshine for consultants, even the ones with highly sought after skills. Expect a lot of work, a few demanding and unrealistic clients, plenty of overtime (not always paid), and occasional disputes over time and money. Nevertheless Devoteam is a great place to work!
