Pros

Devoted has a great team of talented and passionate engineers! As an engineer, you have a lot of flexibility in what you work on and how you work on it. The work is challenging and interesting. Engineers get to work directly with stakeholders and users which is very rewarding. The environment is fast moving, but work life balance is still very good. Comp is competitive and benefit package is great, with fully covered dental, vision, and dental. Leadership is passionate and focused on sustainable growth.

Cons

You need to be a self starter at Devoted. Work isn’t just dripped out by a product manager/owner. We have PMs but it’s more of a collaborative relationship with engineering rather than the PM directing all of the work the team does. Medicare isn’t a domain everyone should work in. It’s complex, and heavily regulated. The work is highly rewarding and Devoted does a good job of letting engineers move quickly despite the regulatory environment. That said, not everyone might find the space interesting or exciting.

Pros

Competitive pay, benefits and great hours. Lots of commission potential

Cons

The favoritism within the sales department is insane. Some of their 'top sellers' are just bullies to the clients, and will hang up on plan changes (since we don't get paid for them outside of AEP)it seems like they let them get away with it because they get sales.
