Senior management could have made better decisions better as to who they would promote. Too much favoritism going on. They would simply promote whoever they liked, which was unbelievable. Some who were in their 'new' roles were incompetent and you would wonder how they could have possibly got promoted. Little room for advancement unless you are your direct report's favorite. Pay was considerably low in comparison to market rates. At the time it seemed like all the good people were gone, either resigned or got laid off.
