Pros

Some of the people at this company are not insufferable.

Cons

The people in supervisory positions at this company are very inconsiderate and disrespectful of your time. You will be asked to do things way out of your job description with no extra incentive to do them. Because the office is small and has few employees, as the newest hire of the office you will carry the blame for the failing business. There is no HR department, so good luck if you want to talk about an issue you are having without having it affect your job security. There is also no company handbook. You will be told that the schedule is flexible, and if you need to adjust your hours for a doctor appointment, or something else that it is no problem. You will them be guilt tripped into never taking a day off. All around 0/10. I was here for a year and a half, including the transition to new ownership. They were fully aware that I am a young person who needed a job and took advantage of that and asked me to do much more than I was being paid for. They did not treat me with the same respect as others in the office. Every other employee had a problem with the same “supervisor” that I did, but nothing could ever be done about this person because as I said before, who were we supposed to talk to without an HR department. New ownership has very misogynistic views and attitudes. I could not get through a conversation with the COO without being interrupted multiple times. There is also very little room for growth. Close to two years into my job here, there was not even an idea of where I could move up to.
