Business outlook
Pros
A lot of talented engineers, especially on the backend. Generous severance given the current job market. Opportunity to work on a variety of projects and different tech stacks. Most of my interactions with coworkers felt genuine.
Cons
Communication isn't great from top down and across teams. Lots of wasted engineering talent and great product ideas blocked by non engineering leadership. Abrupt layoffs (Understandable?)
