Pros

Good people on the floor working with you if you are a print manager and finisher-everyone I've worked with was hard working and decent. Raises every year (varied on how well the store did individually, though so a bad year? get a minimal wage increase). Never truly a boring time at work. Decent benefits for Full Timers-though policies changed yearly and were not consistent.

Cons

No mobility for job titles-you will be expected to do more with little to no pay increase. The lesson I learned from this job was to never say "yes" if they don't plan on paying you more. No upper management will listen to floor workers and printing managers, , including Sales Reps and CEO, despite floor workers are the ones doing the intake of orders and estimations of when orders are done-this has been a consistent problem when I worked there, it was absolute nonsense. There is also little to no consistency for quality of product-which would get you in a lot of bad run ins with customers. No limiting what customers could demand also became a problem when it involved charging them for the service-discounts galore and blame games became common among upper management staff. This gets annoying. If you need the job and get it-good for you but do not take more hours if you can help it. I absolutely learned my lesson to not give away "free" work hours because they simply do not hire enough staff to cover their work load.

Pros

The pay was decent enough.

Cons

Where to begin - I watched the manager berating and shaming the only person who knew what they were doing. I watched them crush the other employee's soul and then watch as the nepotism that went with his position of authority further deteriorate that employee's self-esteem and literal health. Maybe it's the problem of one bad manager, or maybe it's systemic - since the employee didn't feel SAFE speaking with HR.
