Good people with great attitudes

Not enough PTO for the sales team

Colleagues are young and energetic

The management makes a lot of empty promises to convince potential employees to accept inadequate job offers. The interviewees are lured in by the company's convincing rhetoric about how quickly the business is growing. The reality is there are no opportunities for advancement, no bonuses, no raises, and the stock options offered to new employees are a joke due to the extremely high turnover. As an experienced professional who is an excellent multi-tasker who can handle extraordinary amounts of pressure, I was definitely duped into believing this company would advance my career. Month after month, I was promised improvements in workload, but it only got worse. One major reason is because there are a handful of inexperienced employees who are put in decision-making roles, based on unknown reasons, and they are constantly making mistakes that create more work for the operations/production department. There is no accountability for the sales team's poor attitudes toward all the other departments, no accountability for the sales team's inability to follow standard operating procedures, and no accountability for the the sales team and management's chronic disregard for deadlines. Morale is extremely low, in fact it is actually non-existent.
