Pros

Brilliant people, from top to bottom and right across the organisation. They say people make a business and that's very much the case here. There are a lot of unsung and quiet heros which provide a great service both internally and externally. The knowledge and experience of the team people's general attitude makes it a pleasure to work here. Those which work hard and demonstrate willingness to go beyond are rewarded. I've personally seen a number of people rightly rewarded with pay increases or promotions as a result of their hard work. Current SLT has a very solid and credible plan to lead the business to success. Recent hires, partnerships and system changes have shown investment and faith from the PE backers which is only going to calvinize the staff Being a small organisation, it's easy to get things done and make a difference. This also means people have to pull their weight, otherwise they get exposed. Very credible focus around specific technologies and verticals which enables the business to make a real difference to it's customers. The office vibe makes it nice to be in the office (in a world or remote working) and the socials are generally very good.

Cons

Like any organisation, there has been challenges over the years and if people pick hard enough, they will find faults. However, the grass isn't always greener and the business is doing all it can to turn the tide, being here for 5 years, it's clear to see this. No real Cons! What is shocking are the 1 star reviews from former staff. No business is perfect and clearly these people are extremely bitter about being let go (probably due to lack of performance) and thought they were something special, the boringly long the essays they've written are a giveaway. Much like Trip Advisory reviews, people only comment when they want to moan.

Pros

The people you work with Flexible working

Cons

New systems designed without thinking of the end user or even having conversations with the people using it. No formal product training, only peer to peer so no baseline for performance or knowledge. Ego's over experience, people with titles that like to swing them around rather than listen to team members that have direct experience in their areas. Would rather stamp their authority instead of focusing on the customer experience. No progression unless you suck up, if your face doesn't fit then you are going nowhere. Lots of 'You should do it that way' but no alternatives that work so you live in 'workaround' mode all the time. Happy to pile on the responsibilities without any increase in compenation. Preaching about culture and values but it's all smoke and mirrors.
