Pros

Support from other locations Sales training Okay hours Amazing staff.

Cons

Very corporate and sales-based. A more expensive pricelist every 2-3 months. Disconnected - lacking communication between transfer staff, embalmers, and funeral directors. Management lacks in communication and transparency. Lacking in industry training. The focus is on sales training and not actually serving families. Pay is sub-par and the increase from apprentice to licensed director is minimal. Very high turn-over and understaffing rampant amongst the chapels. Buildings are falling apart and management does very little to initiate repairs and maintenance.

Pros

The company takes great care of its employees. The FSC position is a combination of commission sales and top-notch customer service. It is great opportunity to provide care and value to the client familes and make very good money.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve, especially at large combo cemetery/mortuary. Weekend work is involved, but there are some weekends off.

Enjoyed my time at the company, lived most of my coworkers.

Cons

Terrible management. Very good old boys club with tons of micromanagement
