Pros
- People are amazing. Everyone has a positive, kind, straightforward attitude, and your colleagues are all very talented and invested in their roles.
- Very transparent, honest, and direct corporate culture. No politics, no b*llsh*t, everyone is friendly and happy to help. Honestly, my respect to HR, this truly impresses me every day.
- Management is friendly and positive, always trying to improve things, always supporting career progression and encouraging work/life balance.
- Great responsibilities from day 1, really encouraged to take initiatives, speak up, and participate beyond your role, but also excellent and continuous training/coaching.
- Get to have deep, strategic conversations with C-level executives daily.
- Great product and customer teams, so you really feel like you're helping your clients, making a difference, and having a tangible impact. Very rewarding.
- Great hours, great pay, great benefits.
- Most importantly, the vision of the company, the strategic direction it is taking, and its ambition are amazing. So many companies call themselves a 'rocket ship': Galvanize really is one.
Cons
No real cons honestly, just some things to keep in mind:
- The constant aggressive growth means that things change a lot and very quickly, must be flexible and adapt constantly.
- Sometimes the targets may be a bit disconnected from reality, but you can always discuss this with your manager if needed.
- Company was historically fairly centered on North America, so sometimes can feel a bit left out in EMEA, but that's changing.
