Pros
1. Excellent work culture - This is my fifth country where I am working and my first company in New Zealand. Management listens to your advice and employees are friendly. - Team lunches, bi-weekly chit/chat team coffee and Christmas funs.
2. Products that address the niche market area - The software products we work with are best in class - to support real-time production data for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, Mining, Pharma, and more.
3. Work Flexibility - When I joined Dimension, I had experience in Software development, engineering, solution design but I would love to work in the Sales / Pre-Sales domain which I talked with David and he allowed me to spend my time on that. There are very few companies in the market that allows this.
4. Inclusive work culture - Dimension is the small team and there are people with different races, nationalities, and cultures. People are different backgrounds of knowledge and different experience. But, there is nothing stopping to sharing your ideas or thought - it will always listen.
Cons
1. Firefighting sometimes - Because of the small team and nature of the business we support. We need to do firefighting work.
2. Late evening meetings - Dimension has clients all around the world and some roles (Operation, Engineers, and once in a blue moon developers) has to attend meetings in the early morning or late evening.
