Pros
1.Free Azure certifications 2.Completely remote work culture
Cons
1.Company lacks vision and hasn't grown in last 20 years - it is as it is . Leadership has 1900's mentality who make their employees work day & night and have their calendars open most of the days. 2. Most of the positive feedback in the Glassdoor is written when they join the firm. The recruiting head forces you to write positive reviews immediately when you join to attract best talent. 3. No team bonding , no team lunches , no interaction within the team ( except town hall which is a 1 hour presentation), minimal interactions with the manager. Most of the time you are left on your own to figure out stuff. 4.No performance bonuses except a Christmas voucher of 100$ - subpar compared to other Canadian firms. They claim that they have amazing health benefits but unfortunately that's not true - dental, massages , chiropractor etc. are not covered in their general benefit plans so additional 2000$ as HSA is used up in that. 5. Workload is insane , need to work on weekends as well because the sales teams tend to oversell and then they verbally abuse their employees in internal meetings for not meeting deadlines ( story of my life). 6. Pay is below average . They tend to lure you to accepting the job mentioning relationship with Microsoft(this is true that you might get to meet few Microsoft folks if you are being hired for senior leadership) and the amazing health benefit( which is a lie because I have personally called the insurance company and understood their scheme). They have implemented new policies where employee "can" get bonuses if they deliver more projects- basically work 5x time for same amount of money for a meagre bonus . 7. No HR hired ever. This is the biggest red flag here in the company . The CTO does everything from shipping laptops to managing daily things . Best indicator of cost cutting & company's growth. 8. Management is always trying to cost cut and hire from Mexico & India for cheaper resources , so you are always replaceable. This also means working in a distributed environment. They also hire fresh graduates because its easier to get them for lower packages - unfortunately their career is ruined and need to escape as soon they realize this. 9. 90% of the current employees are Indians - it is a mini India feel except client facing & leadership roles(certain management people care a lot about communication skills and even correct the pronunciation) . Inclusivity is very low. 10. The leadership keeps changing their business approach , so no job guarantee. They have been continuously failing in multiple approaches and unfortunately people who are laid off the ones to suffer. 11. Employee churn is high - obviously because of the above reasons. Average length of employment is 7 months if you aren't terminated because the company's vision has changed.
