Pros
- the nicest production workers - Can listen to music
Cons
- Extremely dangerous work environment, no funding is put into maintaining safety standards at this workplace, in all production levels...the tumbling room heavy machinery never gets serviced and breaks regularly leading to dangerous accidents that could be fatal, not to mention a very tight, compact working room that is filthy, the sanding room is extremely hot in the summer while in the winter it is freezing due to no air conditioning or heating, the casting room is the most dangerous of all production levels as temperatures can exceed 45 degrees due to the industrial ovens working all day only 1 metre away from open resin barrels which are so flammable they could destroy the whole building in seconds. - the wage is so unjust for the work you do at this place its hard to believe honestly, you get paid minimum wage for a job that should be paying at least 35$ an hour...not to mention almost zero benefits, no free food or drinks, it feels like they dont care about you in the slightest which really takes a toll on mental health -there is extreme pressure placed on employees to meet unrealistic goals - the management staff discriminate between favourite employees and other staff, show little attention to issues you raise and often get angry if they don't like what you say about the business, safety conditions or management despite it being true and constructive. - the injuries you get working here happen daily, from cuts, to burns, to grazes...the list goes on, this happens every shift and you are expected to just cop it - the Owners dont like spending money where necessary despite making an incredible profit each year
