Pros
Diversity of projects. Hybrid work
Cons
Training is not prioritised and not part of the company for starting the projects. Lacks a professional management structure, resulting in unclear lines of communication and accountability. Lacks a positive company culture, with no bonding or regular team meetings to foster a sense of camaraderie among staff. Is short-staffed, leading to an overload of work and burnout among existing employees. The company failing to compensate staff in line with industry standards. (personally was getting paid 8K under my previous similar roles in academia) Prioritises projects and deadlines over valuing employees, leading to poor morale and job satisfaction. Fails to provide adequate work-life balance, with undefined working hours and excessive workload. Lacks streamlined processes to support operations effectively, leading to unrealistic expectations and poor performance.
