Pros
The talented people (who are genuinely good humans) work harder than they should. I’m not sure why they are sticking with this unprofessional company.
Cons
- Micromanagement
- Upper management doesn’t understand their own work flow, nor follow their own values
- Promote with titles, not pay
- Let lower paid staff go once they go over 5 years with company
- Constant turnover
- Understaffed
- “work hard, play hard” old school mentality which isn’t productive or effective
- Fake belief in work life balance / mental health support
- Unprofessional employees who managed to make themselves irreplaceable so they can treat others poorly (belittle, embarrass, gossip, do poor work)
