Pros

Nice coworkers who have a personality and make the job a little less miserable

Cons

Awful. This was the worst job experience I've ever had and I've worked for a lot of companies. This place is an absolute scam. They are NOT transparent during the interviews and straight up lie to you about how much money you will make. You have to sell a certain amount in order to even get commission. The training is HORRIBLE and they don't do anything but waste your time. They don't teach you anything except a robotic pitch that you have to say to Sams club members. The whole job is you standing in a SAMS club trying to get people to sign up for a rewards program that no one wants to do because it sounds sketchy. Or you sell DirecTV that people also don't want to do because they're busy shopping for groceries. Most people at Dirpro are only there for less than a couple of months because its almost impossible to make commission and the salary is very low. So they are constantly hiring new people because that's how often people quit. Dirpro is literally just a pyramid scheme. Don't waste your time applying.

Dear Reviewer, sorry to hear this was a negative experience for you. We do try to be as transparent as we can during the interview process, which is why we talk about our clients and what your day to day would look like. Advancement is defiantly real, which is why we have a new expansion happening plus another one within a few weeks. I would like to point out Pyramid Schemes are illegal in the US, and require any new "recruits" to invest in them before they see any new income. That is not how we operate our business, you get paid from day 1 no investment needed. Regular W2 job. We wish you the best of luck in finding a position that best suits you, and if you have any other concerns please contact us at hr@dirproinc.com.

Pros

The pros of this company is that is it possible, although unlikely to advance up their expedited corporate latter. If one were to consider taking a job at Dirpro, one must try to it out for at least 3-6 months.

Cons

The cons is that whatever they tell you on their job description is deceptive. The bottom line of what an employee at Dirpro does is sell DirecTV at a Costco Kiosks throughout central NJ. That means standing for 5-8 hours straight asking Costco customers walking by if they are interested in DirecTV, which 90% of the time they will not be, especially considering the extremely competitive market for cable and streaming services. Making a sale is very difficult just based on the fact that what you would be selling is not something people readily want. Also the compensation is extremely deceptive. They pay $10 an hour not combined with any commission you might make on a sale. An employee only gets what is more, either the hourly compensation or the commission on a sale. So its not as if your getting $10 an hour plus any commission you make, an employee is only compensated based on what turns out to be more at the end of the week. And remember your selling a product most people don't want.

Thank you for your comment. We are very transparent, we tell everyone we market our clients products and services inside of the number one retailers like Sams and Costco. Direct Tv is just one of our clients products that we market for, we do have other clients as well. Marketing a clients product is just the entry level position, so I'm sorry if you weren't successful and couldn't make it through our entry level position. Direct Tv is a high commodity, it provides a lot of value, if that was not the case I don't think Sams and Costco would offer it to their members. Compensation isn't deceptive as you clearly stated someone will take home whichever is higher either their commission or their hourly pay, majority of people take home their commission because its significantly more. We know $10 an hour doesn't go far, that base is used as a safety net just in case someone has a bad week, However majority of people take home their commission which is significantly greater than the base. We want people to make as much as possible and grow and develop. I'm sorry this didn't work out for you, however I wish you the best and I hope you're very successful in your career field, have a great day.
