Pros
Lots of growth opportunities and open to feedback
Cons
Not very stable due to the funding sources
Pros
Divergence cares more about the student success in the future than their tuition. On top of tremendous instructors, they have a full staff of career readiness trainers and student support specialists. Divergence Academy is tops in all categories.
Cons
The class sizes are dependent on the Federal budget as a large proportion of Divergence Academy students are military veterans.
Pros
Divergence has cultivated a remarkable culture, attracting friendly, passionate, and exceptionally talented employees. Working here is very fulfilling, and provides a sense of making a positive impact on students' lives...the organization offers excellent benefits and (for the most part, though actively changing) embraces a flexible approach to work.
Cons
The owners, however, unfortunately, maintain a culture of superiority, secrecy, and gossip..while I once believed in the CEO's genuine concern for his staff, recent events have lead me to reexamine that trust... Although the CEO is highly technically intelligent, his lack of business sense hinders the execution of his brilliant ideas..preventing those with the necessary expertise from moving forward... Accountability is lacking, with the CEO taking credit for others' achievements and avoiding responsibility...there is a major lack of stability, as the focus constantly shifts, making it impossible to plan, advance, and achieve goals... Promises of raises, promotions, and bonuses go unfulfilled... contributing to an growing sense of broken trust.. I am sad to say I have doubts about the company's fate..I sincerely wish to be proven wrong, and I hope that Divergence can reverse the current course.
