Pros

The pay is outstanding Relationships with employees

Cons

Major racial inequity issues, founder said some disparaging comments towards Asians, does not accommodate for disabilities, the list could go on and on... Previous CEO worked on the board for Chick Fil A - left due to acquisition of Koya and issues with the employees of Koya raising concern since Koya was primarily a NFP organization - rejoined the board without letting employees know and a key account found out, most of upper management left after the LGBTQ+ employees made demands. Founder made some severe disparaging comments towards Asians and walked them back with an apology. Do not let this company fool you. They do not believe in equality and Human Resources is a complete joke.

Pros

Some autonomy (for the 100% commissioned employees) and remote work options

Cons

The current CEO (no longer Dale Jones) has run the company into the ground over her 3+ years with the firm. There is a complete lack of culpability amongst the leadership team, who range from apathetic to noxious. Several top billers and practice leaders have left and there is zero valuable communication disseminated amongst the overall organization. They acquired a few smaller firms over the past few years and did nothing to integrate them, so there is a completely dysfunctional corporate culture. We continue to operate in the void between SHREK firms and boutiques, and there is nothing that sets the firm apart from competitors who are doing things better. Additionally, they've removed several previous benefits enjoyed by employees over the years (e.g., summer Fridays, no leverage fees, etc.) making the culture even more tenuous.
