Pros
Work is Flexible, most people are friendly.
Cons
*None or rare opportunities of professional growth or being promoted. *Nepotism is very remarkable, even if it affects performance of the company *Salaries are lower than average *Nearly hard or impossible to suggest or implement changes for any improvement in the lab or IT. *There are "bubbles" of teams working in isolation and communications between teams is not great. They may be a small company but bureaucracy is an issue. *Some groups are massively overpaid. *The CEO can be hostile and rude towards employees. *if you want to work there, you don't have to be good, you just have to be recommended by someone internal. They may do occasional interviews but usually internally recommended people get the job. Really, you don't have to be good at your job at all. *Public ashamement from CEO on Wednesday meetings was normal up to some point. You get to see people avoiding eye contact, or hidding during meetings, cracking their fingers for not being the next person to be blamed.
