Pros
Angel and Aaron are nice.
Cons
Pay is not great. $17.50 an hour with super expensive medical insurance? I couldn’t even afford to sign up for the insurance. While this may not reflect the company, I felt very take advantage of in terms of my job position and what admins and attorneys were asking of me. There was no real clear outline of the job or task. Putting “duties as assigned” on a job description just makes it so people can ask pretty much ask you to do anything even if it isn’t your job, and you just have to do it. I was essentially an office assistant, errand girl, work mule, office maid. You name it. There’s a tremendous lack of respect from the firm staff who I worked directly under. I often heard “They’re just Docucopy”, even though I was helping the office run when no one else was. And there’s not a whole lot of support from my higher ups or even checking in to see how things were going. The pay absolutely DID NOT reflect the work I was doing. Firm partners were inconsiderate and rude at times. One in particular was the sole reason I decided to leave in the first place. Just complete lack of structure and professionalism. I saw on Indeed that they were hiring for my position once I put in my 2 weeks, and the salary ranged between $13-$16 an hour. In this economy??? I was working paycheck to paycheck on $17.50 an hour. I think y’all can do better than that. It’s a huge slap in the face to anyone to think that such a measly amount would be acceptable.
