Pros

Clients were wonderful, lots of appreciation and positive feedback for the work I worked with colleagues and volunteers who helped maintain my interest and passion despite the toxic culture at management level.

Cons

I was one of the 307 staff selected for redundancies, made to compete for a role despite of my protected rights as a pregnant woman. Was forced to identify suitable alternative roles despite the fact this is the responsibility of the employer under the Equality Act 2010 for pregnant women. Was rejected for all 3 roles that I applied for. Gave very scathing feedback despite I have been doing the job for a number of years and a qualified ATI. This was a deliberate act by the 3 person interview panel to refuse me a role due to my current status. It won't matter if I gave 100% effort, they would still give me a score below a pass. Deliberately set up by withholding information and shut me down for asking questions. This is clearly an act of discrimmination against women who are pregnant. I am pursuing this further through legal channel. I , therefore urge others in similar situation to come forward. There is a potential class action against Dogs Trust. About time, the CEO Owen Sharp wake up and take an interest in what is happening in his organization.
