- contracts are not followed. The school is saving so much costs on teachers salary. You do not get paid for July when you leave which is an entire months salary and no they do not give you more each month to compromise this. - they amend contracts and you have no say over it. - you will have 0 faith in the school and SLT members are in the same boat - if you lie low and put your head down you will be fine but you are not valued -school does nothing nice for students, they struggle to have basic equipment at hand such as whiteboard pens etc -kids are difficult and challenging, there is no behaviour policy in place so you have to make do with your own methods. - if you start this year please find another job. It’s a trap of a school that make your life so difficult when you leave, despite you following the rules. It’s really toxic, some teachers are placed on 28 hours a week. Some are placed on 20. Some are placed mostly with girls and others are expected to do nearly all boys classes. Accomodation you have is shared, you silly rules that involve 0 social life with having people come over. You get made to feel like a criminal and it’s in an awful area. When you compare the package to other schools it’s seriously below level
