Pros

The job is not bad, as long as you stay away from management.

Cons

The company has a high turnover rate for managers that I feel was due to the fact that they expect managers to put in at least 60 hours or more each week in order to make sales goals. They don't allow part timers to get more than fifteen hours a week , which creates no sense of loyalty.

Pros

I enjoyed working at Dollar Tree because it allowed me to lead a team, help develop associates, and make a difference in my store. I liked the fast-paced environment and the variety of challenges that came with running daily operations. The experience helped me grow as a manager, strengthen my problem-solving skills, and build great relationships with both my team and customers.

Cons

The biggest challenges were limited staffing, heavy workloads, and a lack of support from the district level when issues arose. PTO requests were often denied due to business needs, which made it difficult to achieve a good work-life balance. While these challenges could be frustrating at times.
