Pros
Working for Dominion in the nuclear industry has been beneficial in so many ways. The standards and expectations were at a level I had never experienced before. Dominion gave me comprehensive training to meet the high level of standards that are so critical throughout the nuclear industry. That training has given me a new perspective in my attention to detail while developing high quality preventative maintenance procedures. These procedures are then used by technicians as a critical tool to safely and effectively complete their preventative maintenance work assignments.
Cons
Standards and expectations set a very high level, bring a certain amount of stress to the work place. However, if that stress is channeled properly it will elevate a person's performance that is beneficial to both the employer and the employee.
