      Pros

      great coworkers, some staff as well.

      Cons

      impossible to transfer departments lower pay vs industry standard, and your lucky if you even get that with all the payroll issues no investment into training employees poor morale no maintenance other than emergencies leading to significant down time no interest from company to invest money to maintain or create future revenue streams for mill did i mention everything is falling apart

      Pros

      Close knit excellent maintenance teams that seem to do the impossible with the amount of understaffing over the years. Couldn't ask for a better place or people to work with. I have loved my time at this mill. Domtar has no idea at the quality of the institution\people that they are casting off into the abyss.

      Cons

      The corporation as a whole I am not a fan of. It seems they acquired Resolute FP to strategically dismantle it. They have closed several of the RFP mills and Coosa Pines an absolute institution that has been the backbone of the community for over 75 years is the next on the chopping block in May 2026.
