Rahul’s team is the best team to work with. He is knowledgeable, supportive, and understanding. He guides the team well and doesn’t force unnecessary overtime.

Serious Issues Particularly in Ashish’s Team 1. In Ashish team there are clear partialities between employees in some departments. 2. Very few celebrations take place and there were no Diwali gifts during my time. 3. Salary delays have happened for some employees over the past 2–3 years, which causes stress. My biggest challenges were in Ashish’s team, where the work culture is significantly different from the rest of DS: 1. Team members face constant pressure for overtime, including late nights and Saturdays. 2. Tech leads are encouraged to give minimum estimates to clients, and once the project begins, the team is pushed to work long hours to meet unrealistic timelines. 3. There is very little appreciation, and no team celebrations or activities. 4. Responsibilities are often misassigned—BA work is pushed onto team leads, creating confusion. 5. The management style feels very strict and unsupportive, which reduces morale. 6. Employees often feel disrespected or embarrassed during discussions. 7. Rules in Ashish’s team feel like “Hitler rules” — extremely strict, not aligned with other teams, and not employee-friendly. 8. DS as a whole needs centralized rules. Right now, every team follows its own style. 9. Because of this, employees constantly compare themselves with other teams, which creates negative thinking and frustration. Final Advice Before joining Dotsquares, please confirm which team you will be assigned to. Based on my experience: 1. Rahul’s team provides a positive and supportive environment. 2. Ashish’s team has major issues related to workload, management style, and overall culture.
