Pros

Free donuts! And coffee. Nice.

Cons

They’re not great donuts. Treat employees like indentured workers. No quality of life. Worse than the average food service job. The new CEO is unprofessional and creepy.

Pros

The pros of working at Doughnut Plant are the environment, the great customers, and the benefit of free taking doughnuts and coffee. There is room for growth if you're a reliable worker.

Cons

The only con at Doughnut Plant is co-workers that want to chat more than they want to work.

Pros

Free donuts and great, fun coworkers

Cons

Management. They slowly became more corporate while I was there and as a result that means cutting your hours or cutting corners to save money. They eventually got rid of shifts and hours so people need to open or close by themselves with a mid-shift in between. This company is very cheap. The espresso machine is always breaking down and they try to get the educator to 'fix' it when all it really does is make it work for like maybe a week or two more because they do not want to pay for a real technician to come in and finetune the machines. There was also a sexual harassment issue that they did not handle properly by saying that the culprit should be respected and that the two girls'(I was one of them) separate situations will be considered a first-time offense. They let the offender roam around with a 'slap-on-the-wrist sexual harassment re-training' and eventually the girl and I quit because we felt there was a lack of respect and safety concerns in the work environment. Also, the turnover rate at this company is very high, so it will get chaotic because there are always people leaving and joining. This is not a company you join if you are seeking growth and opportunities as there is major favoritism. They do not care about hard workers, they care about smiles and personality.
