Working with books is fun, finding that hard-to-find title is fun... Getting to see what's popular and find materials you didn't even know existed is fun!
Cons
It's a customer service job, except every angry customer says "my taxes pay your salary" and upper upper management wants to save money on personnel (circ desk)
