Pros

Pay is good, depending upon position- full-time permanent positions offer good benefits package, vacation and retirement

Cons

Management seems to lack direction- communication within the company is lacking, to say the least- constant turnover in multiple areas of the company.

Pros

-If you like to travel the North Slope or the adventure of it and/or need a steady paycheck, have at it! -If you're a Doyon Shareholder, you get all the breaks!

Cons

-Employee turnover and firing is very high. Workplace hostilities are commonplace -Pay is very poor for cooks and bakers, averaging at only $13 to $15 an hour. Raises are almost nonexistent -Most of the remote camp facilities are substandard, but the downtown offices are nice!
