Pros
My entire experience was an eye opener to what #agencylife is really like. Real World Experience As an intern, I had an opportunity to work on REAL projects for REAL clients. Everything from developing creative concepts, to pitching clients, and implementation. Great Mentors Every week we met with a different department to learn about how their team contributes to the development and implementation of advertising and marketing campaigns. This included being given small projects to complete that taught us a little about the duties of each department's role. Throughout the internship, employees made themselves available to us for questions about our work or even to just chat about the industry. Very supportive! Pay! Interns are expected to work hard and are compensated as such. No need to talk numbers, but it was more than appropriate for the work that we were doing. I would recommend that anyone with a passion for advertising, design, and even coding, to apply for an internship with DrakeCooper. However, if you do not have ambition, a drive to create the best work possible, and serious work ethic then this is not for you.
Cons
I wish that the experience lasted longer. There is so much to learn and very little time. Also, parking was always an issue. However, this really only applies to interns as employees are incentivized to use other transportation. (So that's not really a con if you love to ride a bike)
