Pros

Work from home has pros and cons, but this company seems to be doing it really well. There's a lot of communication and everyone is helpful in giving feedback. There are fun things like movie nights and raffles but there's not pressure if your not able to join. Having clear expectations on the kind and amount of work I'm doing is one of the most important things for me in job/company and this place is pretty good for that.

Cons

We haven't released the game yet, so its hard to brag about my job to old friends who think their doing better than me. The only real con is that we are a startup, so there isn't much offered in the way of benefits yet, but management seems to be planning for that as we grow.

Pros

First and foremost they gave me a shot when no other game companies would since most expect years of experience for an entry position. Rather than the amount of AAA companies I have worked for they focused on my skills and how they would fit in with the current project. The team I work with is great; they are very diverse which brings a lot of different ideas and allows different views of our work. I really enjoy the work that I do weekly which can't be said for some of my friends at bigger companies that feel they are doing monotonous work, I am an actual member of the company an not just a cog in the wheel. My voice is heard by the team including the directors which feels great. Overall I am thankful for the opportunity and am happy that I am working with this team.

Cons

Like some indie companies the beginning was a little rocky but once the kinks were worked out things got a lot better and have been on track.
