Pros

Biggest pro is no matter where you end up after, it'll seem amazing. You'll realize you were actually taking on a much more senior role than your title would reflect, so at least you got some experience with being exploited.

Cons

Toxic workplace. Unbearable workload. But you are constantly told you could be doing more, yet you are given more "responsibility" and will basically take on an entire new (additional) role every time someone leaves and will never be recognized or compensated for it. Suspicious departures from employees known to have personal relationships with the Family (owners, CEO, bosses). Everyone gossips about the family and it is embarrassing how much tension/miscommunication there is between family members AKA all senior management. Senior Management is emotional and petty and will intentionally try to demean you in front of others. Everyone complains but there is no one to complain to who isn't part of the problem.

Pros

Had a great experience working at Drug Intelligence. Young, dynamic team with continuous learning and growth opportunities for bright minds. Work-life balance was strongly emphasized, and lots of diverse projects kept me engaged throughout my time working there. You also get face to face exposure with Canadian pharmacy leaders, which you can’t really get in many other places. Overall, highly recommended place to step into pharmaceutical consulting.

Cons

As this is a client-focused role, deadlines can sometimes be tight as they're based on the client's needs. So be prepared to be agile in managing those deadlines.
