Pros

There are some people who really try to do good things there and I learned what types of leaders and the type of company NOT to work for in the future

Cons

I don't know where to begin... Is is the ego-manical CEO and CFO? Is it the inability to want to do better, so everything just remains the same? Is it consistently hiring "C" average leadership across all orgs? Is it the fact that employees are made to listen to how "much the company cares about the wellbeing of their employees" but in actions shows nothing of the sort? (I mean, unless of course your an Indian man, then you get promotions, raises and a seat at the table with the rest of the "important people") Working for Druva was like being in an abusive relationship, where they just over time break you down. While you are giving everything you have, they tell you they need more (without a thought to resources-just an assumption that you'll be the one to do it) and when their crazy high expectations (which consistently change without warning or explanation) aren't met, it is something YOU did wrong. They continue to use this "IPO" thing as a carrot...I wonder how real it is. They've been talking about IPO for as long as I can remember. They continue to pump it up in all-hands and to new hires and potential candidates but the timeline continues to get pushed out. If you are interviewing for anything that rolls into the CFO's org, run away. That organization is so wishy-washy, you'll be hired and then fired within months. If you aren't fired, you'll leave because of the lack of direction and questionable things they ask you to do...Unless you're in the "circle of trust", then you can assume anything you do will be protected and even encouraged by the CFO. Just don't do anything to upset them - they will run to daddy and you'll have a target on your back. This place will talk you up, give you inflated titles and will expect you to perform at that level without proper guidance or training. Take a look at all the "Sr. Director" titles in this org. Because of their lack of experience, things are consistently incorrect and take longer than needed because no one seems to know what they're doing. C-Suite is made up of leaders without a backbone. Anyone who challenges the CEO is shut down and blocked. There's a reason every one of them is a first-timer at their role. They'll bow down and save their butt because they have something to prove before they'll directly challenge a decision that he makes. Coming here was the worst decision of my life. I am embarrassed to even have it on my resume. I'm on my way out. Thank god the job market is what it is right now. I'm sure there will be more behind me, too.

Druva Response

I am truly sorry to read your review. Druva is not for everyone and your experience is not the norm. If you are willing to have a conversation, please contact me. We do have growing pains, as many companies on our trajectory do. It sounds like you got caught in some particularly difficult situations that your manager or others were unable to help resolve. I wish I had known. Personally, I disagree with your characterizations of the leadership team and the CEO and CFO. We work hard to communicate often and be transparent. We have a very strong company that is growing rapidly and outstanding products. We are not perfect- that is for sure. We are open to feedback and make changes all the time. If you are still at Druva, I welcome a conversation if you're willing. Or if you've left I'd still like to hear from you.

Pros

Druva is positioned at the intersection of cloud and data security—two of the fastest-growing priorities for customers today. With a strong partner ecosystem, a true SaaS platform, and significant growth opportunity, it’s a place where you can both drive impact and accelerate your career. Deep relationships with key partners (e.g., Dell, cloud providers) Multiple routes to market → more opportunities to drive revenue Channel-friendly model

Cons

Like any high-growth company, Druva comes with strong opportunity but also some challenges. For someone who’s self-driven and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, those challenges can actually turn into big opportunities.
