Pros

There are no good things about this job!

Cons

The managers are nasty to you and don’t care about what you have going on or how you feel. You are not only the receptionist but you are also house keeping and a host, you have to tuck in wires constantly, sweep the floor every 40 mins, dust shelves, unfold and fold towels, help the stylist get they tools warmed up and run back and forth for them to get hair clips etc. The job would have been alright if the stylist and managers were nice people but they are not!!!! There were maybe 5 out of 20 stylist that were nice the rest will give you attitude and look at you nasty. They DO NOT help you with training what so ever and have you figure out everything on your own leaving your stresses and unable to breath. Theirs costumers in your face every second and their system for booking absolutely sucks. They also constantly cut your hours at work not caring if you want/need to stay for the time that they gave you.

Pros

can be a fun community

Cons

managers were always on vacation, meanwhile 95% of the time I would request a day off I'd get denied because "too many stylists were off already off" making it impossible to take any time off. (Of course no one wants to cover your shifts...) managers making it so you're unable to change your schedule, the low pay, the constant pain you're in from doing blowouts all day. they treat you as a slave. if you say no they don't care. I got in a car accident and tried to call out and was told to I had come in. Insane.
