The overall environment is very positive. There is enough freedom for people with a lot of drive to do well but not feel micromanaged.
Cons
That freedom comes with responsibility. I don't see this as a con, but if you're someone who just wants to tackle well-documented processes, this isn't the company for you.
Most people at the company are earnest and friendly. When the company meets in person around the globe, it feels good to be a part of that community.
Cons
The company has aging infrastructure, and is grasping to get out of it. The engineering managers overall are very poor, with their infighting often getting in the way of progress. Many initiatives invested in get abandoned.
