Clearance sales are confusing to ring. Yellow tags, white, tags, white tags with orange lines through the price! 97 cent endings, 98 cent endings, 99 cent endings, 50 cent endings. Must remove promotions on some clearance and not on others. Customers ask what the original price is but prices have been removed from much of the merchandise so we have to go look at the signage on the shelves. Many clearance discounts must be done manually. Floor leaders are too busy tasking and seem frustrated when we have questions.
