Pros

Will always need workers, given people will always want donuts. For bakers or line workers the pay and benefits are decent. Hours vary depending on what type of kitchen you work for

Cons

It is hard physical labor (in the kitchen), one usually needs to buy their own back brace and decent shoes. At my old job, one may not get good hours. And the pay only got better when the Manager at the time fought for it. One should expect being asked for a lot with little gratitude given back.

Pros

Tips can be great in the morning, and the free coffee makes for a great pick me up.

Cons

Management can sometimes brush off issues when they're brought up directly, and there seems to be a severe disconnect between what the owners/franchisees want in the store and what management actually allows to happen, which can cause rifts on shift.
