Pros

None. Except they pay you. I only got $8.50/hour though. Also, if you have cool co-workers that's a pro but you can't really talk to them so.....

Cons

- Very stressful. You are constantly told to work faster if you aren't giving it 100% your whole shift. I've seen a co-worker start to faint once, and another one was Tebowing throughout her shift, I can only assume because of the workload. - No breaks at all. No rest breaks and no lunch breaks even if you work 10 hours straight. - If there are no customers and you have everything done that your are responsible for, they will find something for you to do (literally no breaks). - Get yelled at when talking to employees about things that aren't work related, even if you are just sweeping. Who can't sweep and talk at the same time? - You don't know if they will tell you to go home early or have you stay later - Have to work holidays. - Understaffed and they are still thinking about getting rid of people. - Schedules are made 2 weeks in advance, but you don't know your schedule until the week of (so if you work Monday, you won't know until the day before). - Start times, end times, and shift length vary greatly (anywhere from 3 hour to 10 hour shifts). - Have to wear a white shirt which always gets coffee on it. - Employee discount is terrible. It's 25% on single items when you are on shift only. So it still costs $0.82 for a donut. - They throw away a lot of food at the end of the day. They could donate it instead. - Things that can be recycled are not recycled. They are put straight into the trash. Don't they care about the environment? - Everybody is always flipping out about the drive thru timer. Shut up, I'm working as fast as I can! It not my fault we are understaffed. - The food that comes out of the oven is hot, and you are only given super thin plastic gloves! You have to handle the food as soon as it comes out of the oven because getting customers their food a couple seconds sooner is more important than your fingers. - You do the same crap for several hours straight so you become some kind of mindless zombie on autopilot. I'll make a coffee and if someone asks what it is the second I'm done making it, sometimes I won't even know. - If you have a headset on, the thing constantly screechs in your ears and you hear the same line, "Add a turbo shot to any beverage for only $0.99" over and over again. And after hearing that all day, you'd pay someone $0.99 to shoot you in the face. - If we don't have enough Dark Roast, we will top off your drink with regular coffee to fill the cup because the timer is all they care about. - The sugar machine gets clogged so we might have to take out best guess as to how much sugar to put in - Orders can get messed up frequently because we have to make drinks so fast that we don't have time to think. Yes, the making coffee is easy, but it becomes super hard when you have to make a coffee in like 10 seconds over and over again for hours straight.

Pros

Every once in a while you are granted a 15 minute break

Cons

There are significant concerns regarding management’s leadership and communication practices. Employees often receive criticism in a manner that feels disrespectful rather than constructive, and support from management is limited despite high expectations placed on staff. Professional boundaries are also a concern, as discussions between management and employees about employees occur inappropriately among coworkers. Greater emphasis on respectful communication, employee support, and professionalism would help foster a more positive workplace culture. They also promise pay, after employees were not paid correctly management basically state “too bad I can’t fix it” even though that is illegal in the state of VA.
