DO NOT WORK HERE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES • Power obsessed incompentent General Manager • Multiple people with Tier 1 experience have either left or were forced out by the GM • The business lacks 0 form of governance & process, it’s own financial controller would constantly send me P&Ls that had incorrect numbers. Requested & built a new system but no support from the GM & financial controller who knew this would remove their ability to influence & control the numbers • The business has 0 culture, people come & go so quickly in the business, out of a team of 20, they are down to about 3 people who have a tenure longer than 2 years • GM has no understanding of the market dynamics & rules of engagement, multiple customers openly remark about their dislike for him • HR just sitting there as a passenger doing absolutely nothing to control a dictatoresque GM • The genuinely only benefit is base pay & additional super, however if you think you are getting a bonus forget about it. Despite growing double digits for the last 3 years, the GM is so out of touch, that he tells global the targets should be higher, so no bonuses have ever been paid Please take my advice and don’t work here, I hand on heart learned nothing from my time at Duracell, all I did was have to bring process & experience based off prior knowledge in the market. If I was a gambler, id say Duracell to exit the market within 2 years.
