Pros

- Cool Space - Variety of Clients - Young company - Had a culture, even though it was somewhat cheesy - Most of the folks were nice and easy to work with

Cons

- While there, if you weren't drinking the kool-aid, you wouldn't fit in or last - Inter-office relationships were awkward - Devs always getting pulled in too many directions - Was told "unlimited vacation" prior to hire, but once there, they said it was actually 20 days max. That's generous, but obviously not unlimited. - A lot of side-eyeing if you left for lunch or coffee - Project/Time management system was convoluted and an absolute chore to maintain - Salary wasn't worth the stress - Used Google suite of products, instead of Microsoft. This is obviously preferential, but Excel is a much better product that more folks have experience with. - Lack of direction and structure

Pros

-- Dynamit has a great portfolio of clients. It's really exciting to have the opportunity to work with national and global companies. -- Dynamit focuses on hiring genuinely good people who are also really talented and driven. I appreciate that it's important to Dynamit that everyone hired is as good a fit for Dynamit as Dynamit is for them. I've seen how this results in more effective, collaborative project teams who truly get along and support each other. -- Growth opportunities are endless - you can grow in your existing role, learn a new skills or even switch departments/roles internally to broaden your experience. I've seen all those scenarios happen many times and it's great to watch people grow. -- All employees are encouraged to speak up, provide opinions and be a part of positive change at Dynamit. I've always personally felt like my opinion matters.

Cons

-- Like any other agency/consulting firm, workload sometimes spikes and longer hours could be needed to meet a deadline, but when this happens I've always seen the teams rally to get things done together. -- Context switching - Often I'm juggling multiple projects and am going from one task/client to another. Sometimes this is a mental challenge, but I've improved my time management skills to say the least.
