Way too many ultra-long term employees have formed cliques that are impossible to break into.
This place is the poster child of toxic positivity. Everyone has plastered on smiles right before they stab you in the back. One way they help to lower energy consumption is by throwing so many people under buses that they have run out of buses. Genius!
They talk the talk of diversity but DO NOT follow through. Just take a peek at our leadership page. Just put some shades on first - it's kinda bright! They formed a diversity committee, that had a few senior leaders on it, but dissolved it when they started to ask difficult questions.
Their technical infrastructure is very shaky. For a company that sells tech tools, they invest very little here. Some senior tech people just left so there is a knowledge gap too. One of the tech crew told me that they're not following any best practices either.
We were purchased by a venture capital company recently and they have sucked all the joy out of E Source. All of the perks that made it worth working here have disappeared.
Pity, this used to be such a great place to work.
