Pros
For years this was a good place to work. People worked hard, but also played hard, and there was a spirit of camaraderie. This changed over a couple years after being bought by a private equity firm. Several of the higher ups were from a company E-Tech supposedly bought, but immediately began inserting their culture into E-Tech. This was far from an improvement, and it became quickly apparent that they didn't care about the folks at E-Tech, they were just trying to race to buy the next company, and the next after that. The culture was broken.
Cons
The owners were very stingy with affirmation. They had certain people they would give kudos to, but mostly they withheld pats on the back, and this in an environment that required hard work and a lot of travel. Affirmation for good work would have been welcome.
