Thank you for your feedback. We always want to hear comments from our current and past employees, especially when it’s a potential area of growth. Unfortunately, your comments are a bit difficult to address.
In the last year we have not rolled out any new compensation plans. We have revised incentive programs for certain, non-field related job positions, and have worked with those affected in order to hear their feedback and make adjustments accordingly. We are receiving very positive responses to those changes.
It is not our practice to make promises. We do, however, provide information that will enable our employees to grow, learn, course correct, and plan for their career at E2 Optics. We are sorry you felt mislead. Any additional information you care to provide would assist us in improving our communications.
Regarding layoffs, towards year end, we did make some labor adjustments as we went into our first quarter slow season (which didn’t turn out to be slow at all!). However, those adjustments were largely made by reducing our contract labor, not our payroll employee base.
